Urban Theatre Projects is creating a new virtual reality (VR) experience called The Quiet Discomfort, which grapples with the complex social issue of emotional violence towards women and children.
Over the past year UTP has created a prototype and tested the ‘experience’ with various focus groups including counsellors, women with lived experience, high school students and friends of UTP. The response has been positive so we are taking the work into full production, and that’s where we need your help.
We’re looking to raise a total of $25,000 by Friday 10 May to build the full experience. This includes $10,000 via Chuffed and a further $15,000 via Give Now. And thanks to the Creative Partnerships’ Plus 1 initiative, they’ll match your donation dollar for dollar.
