In partnership with Arab Theatre Studio Bilingual Screen is a project where artists and young people explore their identity through language. In the second half of the year we will work with our 2019 Artists to realise the final screen works that were workshopped in 2019, and additional artist to be announced.
In 2021, Bilingual Screen will be our first offering back into the world. The voices of the young, diverse Western Sydney young people will ring out over screens in Blacktown as they look to the future and dissect a year in lockdown.
Throughout 2020, we’re supporting a number of diverse projects from young people and emerging practitioners. All artists have strong voices and sharp insights into contemporary practice and cultural representation, and their collective talents include literature, performance, live art, film and community practice.
The program is made possible through the generous support of the Crown Resorts Foundation and Packer Family Foundation.
